Drag reducing agents (DRA) for oil and petroleum products produced by Transneft Synthesis are represented by PT FLYDE in lab jacketed glass chemical reactor, equipped with coil condenser and dropping funnel. DRA reduces hydraulic pressure loss and increases pipeline throughput. DRA application increases energy efficiency and reduces operational costs for pipeline transportation. DRA functioning is based on reducing the turbulent pulsation in the flow, due to interaction of the polymer macromolecules with the turbulence.
